Relief for Brainwave and Clara

Clara, in my opinion, is the most selfless person I've ever known. In May of this year Clara had a little scare when she passed out at her home. The reason it was so scary is because she was born with a heart condition, and already had one open-heart surgery before age 15.
After her visit to the hospital, one of her doctors told her that, in order to save her own life, she would need to abort her baby boy. In that moment Clara simply said, “That is not an option.” She literally risked her life by giving birth and never thought twice. Clara was told many times that she may not make it through child birth, and if she did she may have to be rushed into open heart surgery. Thankfully, Clara and baby Greyson made it through labor with no complications and went home shortly after. Clara has walked through every bit of this with such grace and strength, as I have seen her do with many things in life. Through everything, both Brainwave and Clara have shown constant trust in the Lord and are truly examples.
Three days ago Clara passed out in her home again. She woke up with chest pains. She was rushed to the ER, and then she was transported by ambulance to UAB Birmingham where her cardiologist is. The doctor recommended immediate open-heart surgery to replace the aortic valve in her heart.
She had the surgery yesterday (December 1, 2016), and her valve was replaced successfully (thank you Jesus!!).
However, the surgery along with everything that accompanies being in the hospital, has left Brainwave and Clara and their family in great financial need. The cost of traveling back and forth to Birmingham, the ambulance ride from Hamilton to Birmingham, the hotel expenses, food expenses, time off of work and the cost of the surgery itself is astronomical.
The surgery itself, even with their insurance covering about 50% of the cost, will cost them $100,000. We are believing the Lord for a complete relief of this debt. We are starting this GoFundMe at $10,000 them to help alleviate their immediate financial needs over the next few weeks. A gift of any amount would mean everything to them. They are so grateful for all of the support they have already received from their friends and family. It certainly does take a village to raise a child.
