Help the Morgenstein Family

Hi. My name is Gen. I used to work with Reuben at NIHD in the accounting department. Reuben is the Head of Payroll and loves his job. Helping ensure people are paid correctly is always his goal and he does a great job.

Unfortunately in 2020, after many months of not feeling well, he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Due to COVID he was able to work remotely to take care of himself and continue to provide for his family. Reuben is married to the love of his life, Amber, and they have 5 girls. The twins still live at home with them. Sadly the treatment hasn't been working and he's seen a couple of GI specialists. Just before starting infusion therapy at NIHD, Reuben had to take a leave of absence due to his illness. For those of you who know him, he's tall and takes care of himself. He's active - snowboarding and shooting. He loves metal music and mosh pits. He's lost far too much weight and can't sleep for more than 2 hours at a time because of the excruciating pain. He was recently flown to Renown for inpatient care where he is receiving infusion and nourishment.

Reuben exhausted all of his paid time off while working because of the sick days here or there. Amber bought a small business in Bishop this year. With Reuben being out of work, the Morgenstein family is in need of assistance. Anything helps. Please keep him and his loved ones in your prayers.
