In Loving Memory of Lt. Jonathan Miner
It’s with broken hearts that we share the sudden and tragic passing of Lt. Jonathan Miner, at just 50 years old. Jon was so much more than a firefighter, he was a devoted husband, father, and proud “Papa” whose world revolved around his family.
For 30 years, Jon dedicated his life to serving the residents of Springfield Township as a firefighter. He gave his heart, his time, and his strength to others, always the first to lend a hand and the last to walk away when someone needed help. His presence, sense of humor, and genuine care made him one of a kind.
Jon leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and a fire department family who will forever carry his memory in our hearts. Losing him so suddenly has left an emptiness that words can’t fill.
We’ve created this GoFundMe to help support the Miner family during this difficult time, to ease the financial burden of funeral costs and to give them space to grieve without added worry.
If you can, please consider donating or sharing this page in Jon’s honor. Every gesture, no matter how small, is a reminder to his family that they’re not alone, that the same community Jon spent his life protecting is here to protect them now.
Lt. Miner, thank you for your years of service, your friendship, and your heart. We’ll carry your memory with us always. Rest easy, brother… we’ll take it from here.
