Good Morning,
Brian McNeil here. I am not sure if many people have noticed but I have not been in the office since Thursday (12/13). On Friday morning Carin was extremely ill and we ended up going to the ER. Well, we got discharged late Friday afternoon but by Friday night she had progressed and became worse so we came back to the ER. Without going into too much detail, Carin ended up fighting for her life till Friday (12/21) in the ICU on a ventilator. We have been in the ICU since Saturday morning and she’s continuing to show signs of improvements which is great but we have been told this will be a very long road. We have been told that we will likely be in the Hospital till 12/30/2018 to ensure that the infection Carin has is cleared. Due to what has happened, it is possible that Carin could have cause permanent damage to several organs or damage that could take time to heal. With all this happening I will be needing to take a large chunk of time off the make sure Carin gets the care she needs to recover from this ordeal. I will send an update to Middlebrook every few days with a brief update to keep everyone in the know. Thank you all so much for being such a great family and Carin and I look forward to visiting with everyone once this is over.
