Help for the McCullough Family

Finn is a fighter and he’s has really been doing so well. He’s still in kidney failure,his kidneys took a huge huge hit. Blood work is being done every 12 hours now… it was every 8. That is mainly because to save his platelets. The antibiotics are doing what they are supposed to be doing. His platelets are still going up. He had a platelet infusion done 2 days ago. They don’t see he will need another one. Things could change tho. Some drugs have been changed around. For instance his dopamine was at a 5 and now it’s at a 3. That help his kidney do what they need to do. They are keeping a very close eye on his out put tho. If it goes down they will readjust his dopamine. The peep was at a 10 last night and now it’s at a 7 that is less pressure in his lungs. (Respiratory) That is a good and meaning his lungs are doing a good job. They just did a weight on him about an hours ago. It was 21.5 kg and now he’s at 21.3kg. He still has a lot of fluid and it’s definitely moving around when he get readjusted. They have to make sure he doesn’t lose to much fluid to fast. His peeing is good, still don’t know what his normal is with his out put. With all this information it’s over all good and we are going in the right direction. We have a very long road ahead of us. (Quoted from the Doctor just now). All of this doesn’t mean we are any closer to him being off life support. He is still in critical condition.
