This is Melanie, a young woman, mother, daughter and kind friend. While some today feel the battle against covid-19 is at its end, for Melanie it has just begun.
Living in Calgary and separated from her parents who live in Quebec Melanie has been hospitalized and is sedated in the ICU, her only connection to the support of her family and friends coming from messages passed along from well intentioned and diligent nursing staff.
Her mother Jenny has turned all her thoughts and energy toward making the trip to be at her Daughter's side, to lend her voice to passing along those messages of support and help bolster Melanie's resolve to win her battle. To be there to provide comfort and love for her grandson Austin.
We, her family, are reaching out to ask for help. Help to relieve any of the financial burden that may come for Melanie's immediate family as they do what needs to be done to see their daughter through this difficult time. Any amount will help, no gift is to small to help the McCrea's put worldly thoughts aside and allow the to focus solely on their Daughter.
