Help for the Marthaler Family

Jeremy Michael Marthaler of Erie, Colorado passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Alamosa, Colorado. He was only 49 years old. Jeremy was a triplet born on March 4, 1974 in Saint Cloud, Minnesota and was preceded in death by his sisters, Devon and Megan.

Jeremy is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 25 years, Angie Marthaler; his beloved children Kennedy, Nolan, and Landen Marthaler; mother, Sue Gerard; father, Larry Marthaler; brother, Shawn Marthaler; sister, Alexa Dallin, and many in-laws, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, dear friends, and co-workers.

I am a close friend of Jeremy and his family and have been lucky to know him for all of my adult life. Jeremy was there with me during so many of life’s experiences – when I needed a friend, when I needed a mentor but mostly when I needed to get my head screwed on right. He was one of the first calls when something terrible happened and when something great happened. Like he was for so many when I needed advice - Jeremy was always there. I can’t begin to express the impact he has had & will continue to have on my life or the hole that is left in his absence.

As he passed away unexpectedly, I wanted to create this fundraiser to help do some small part to ease the pain I know his family is in right now. All funds earned will go to support Angie and her children during this difficult time.

Jeremy built a large community during his lifetime. He gave to that community of friends, family, teammates, and acquaintances with every interaction. Now it’s our chance to give.
