Help for the Lor's.

Hello, my name is Khou and I am the second eldest of Savina Yang and Phia Lor. If you don't know my parents you might not know that they have made the community of Menomonie, WI their home for the last 30 years. They are who you might consider a friend, a neighbor, a student, or an employee. You might have crossed paths with them at one point or another whether that be at the store, the park, or other public spaces. When you see them, it is likely they'll wave, say hi, or give you a friendly, "How are you? For those who know them, you might know that they are avid gardeners who enjoy spending time outdoors and keeping their minds fresh by attending adult education classes at CVTC Technical College. They are hard workers, who've raised all five of their children in the local school district and give back to their family and friends when they are able to.

Unfortunately, on the morning of February 1st, 2023 at 5 am they were struck with misfortune and lost everything in a house fire. They are recovering, everyone is safe and thankfully got out in time but it is yet a long road ahead. We are thankful and overwhelmed by all love shown by the community and by those who come forth and offered help, whether that be in monetary form or in supplies, food, or personal items. Funds raised will be used to help the family get back on their feet again and hopefully find a new home. Again, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
