When Jimmy and I were first paired together almost 11 years ago to be best man and maid of honor for John and Jessy, I don’t think either one of us could ever imagine we would be here today.

As most of you have heard by now, my brother-in-law John suffered a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest on the night of Mother’s Day. He was down for a long time and we didn’t know if he was going to wake up. By the grace of God and all of our prayers from near and far, one week later he woke up and is now our miracle man. Now that we can all breathe a little easier and he begins his long recovery, I know more tough times will be coming. He will be having surgery soon to have a defibrillator installed and then will have rehab to get him back up and walking. It will obviously be awhile before John can return to work and the family can return to any kind of normalcy. The bills still have to be paid and the medical bills will soon start to poor in. The last thing I want them to have to worry about is not being able to pay their mortgage or anything else. The only thing they should have to worry about right now is getting John back to where he was.

Everyone keeps asking what they can do to help, so we thought that we would set up this fund to help them in the coming weeks and months with whatever they may need. My sister, John and their babies have so much on their plate right now, if we can ease their minds even just a little, it would be huge.
