Help for the Knaufs

On February 9, 2020, the Knauf family lost their beloved Yannick, who died suddenly at only 9 years old. Yannick’s parents, Nicole and Jon, his brother Luka, sister Mila, and his entire extended family are absolutely devastated to have lost this precious life. Anyone who knew Yannick personally was blessed by his kind, generous, thoughtful and loving presence. We are all so grateful to have known and loved him for the short time he was here, and we will forever remember him in our hearts. 

Many people in the community have reached out and offered to help in any way possible to try and support the family during this difficult time. Please consider donating to the family as a way to alleviate the financial burden of memorial costs and absence from work, and in hopes of providing them the opportunity to spend some much needed quality time together as a family. 

The family is forever grateful to all the support they are receiving from family, friends and so many other community members. A memorial service will be held, though the family is taking their time to grieve the loss before making preparations. Any updates will be shared for those who would like to attend.
