We’re starting this go fund me for the Horlings family. Patrick and Hannah have 2 Children
A 9 month old son Hank and a 2.5 year old Daughter Brianne.
This year they have been met with unprecedented circumstances that have drained them not just emotionally but financially
On June 25, 2020 Hannah was rushed by ambulance to the hospital She later had an ERCP to remove gallstones. From the surgery she had the rare side effect of pancreatitis.
She was in and out of ICU’s for the months after due to the necrosis and a 10cm pseudocyst. She ended up needing blood transfusions and several procedures were performed to save her.
She kept fighting though and was able to return to her family in August. on October 1, 2020 the unthinkable happen. Blood started pouring from her mouth and again she was rushed to hospital. She was then placed in a medically induced coma in ICU and after a large amount of blood transfusions and surgeries, God continued to guide the hands of the surgeons and they glued each of her stomach varicose veins back together.
She woke from her coma with no adverse reactions and again returned to her family.
They are now going preparing for another major surgery. From all of the surgeries and trauma to her body she now needs her Spleen removed as it is very large and swollen. After the tests have come back it is now evident that she also will need a part of her pancreas removed as well. The swelling is causing her pain and she spends much of her time bed ridden.
Her husband Patrick has taken a leave of absence from work to take care of his family They still have bills and prescriptions to pay for and are now surviving on a very limited income.
They have taken out a loan to cover their mortgage and have started using credit to cover all of their expenses.
They have exhausted all their resources including their critical life insurance which they have been told their situation doesn’t meet the requirements a few days to short in hospital, her coma was medically induced and in the eyes of insurance, her situation just isn’t enough to collect.
We are sharing this if you are able to help in anyway and if not we ask for prayers as they are just as important during this time.
Thank you to everyone who already has and still is supporting this young family in their time of need.
