Our Overnight Homeless Shelter Mission is to provide year round emergency shelter for homeless families with children. Our goal is go provide food, shelter, and support in a safe environment while families work to transition into permanent housing.

Unfortunately, due to the adverse impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have lost our major source of funding from the County, which has put us in a critical situation.

Without direct support from individual donors and the community at large, we regrettably find ourselves on the verge of closing our doors indefinitely. This appeal serves as our final attempt to sustain our shelter operations and continue serving the vulnerable homeless families who depend on us.

Throughout our journey, we have consistently strived to operate efficiently, stretching every resource to maintain our shelter operations. It has not been an easy path, but the pressing need for homeless services for families with children has fueled our determination to carry on our mission of helping the underserved.

Currently, the demand for shelter in Baltimore far exceeds the number of available beds. Over the years, we have been privileged to provide a Night of Peace and supportive services to over 2,000 homeless individuals and more than 700 families. Our efforts have helped them overcome homelessness within a safe and nurturing environment.

Now, we find ourselves at a critical crossroads, desperately needing your help. Your generous donation can make a significant impact and help us continue our mission. No donation is too small; every contribution, regardless of size, will bring us closer to our goal of sustaining shelter operations and providing vital support to homeless families.
