Help for the Hocker Family

We are grieving the loss of our dear friend and neighbor, Doug Hocker. In September 2017 we found out Doug was diagnosed with multiple brain tumors. Doug underwent invasive surgery pretty quickly after his diagnosis to remove as much of the tumors as possible. Doug endured additional brain surgeries and chemotherapy over his 18 month battle.
Doug responded well initially to the surgeries and treatments, but over the last year the impact of the tumors made it impossible for him to work, and took a toll on his physical strength and coordination as well.
The last couple of months were extremely difficult as Doug began rapidly declining. His wife, Cindy, a school teacher, was on unpaid leave from work for the last couple of months to take care of Doug, as it was unsafe for him to be home alone.
The mountain of medical bills, funeral costs, and income deficit from not being able to work have created a huge financial burden for the family.
Our goal is to relieve Cindy of this huge burden as she and her daughters are grieving the loss of a beloved husband and father.
