Help for the Herring Family

You might not know, but Deb was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer on November 16th.

Deb is having surgery Monday December 20th. She's having a total thyroidectomy with extensive lateral neck dissection to remove multiple effected lymph nodes. She might also have her parathyroid removed during that surgery. As of right now, the doctors believe this is papillary carcinoma.

Deb will also need to have radioactive iodine therapy post surgery to destroy any remaining thyroid tissue that is left in her body.

Deb is an amazing, loving, and thoughtful friend, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She is a full time stay at home mom who takes amazing care of their very happy, smart, and sweet four year old son, John Jr. Deb and her husband, John Sr. are working very hard to make sure John Jr. is the least effected by all of Deb’s medical ordeals.

Deb will need to make multiple trips to Boston for appointments, surgery, and treatments. The cost of parking, gas, hotel stays, and medical expenses will add up.
