Help for the "Hat Guy"

My name is Stephanie and I am asking for your help for my family. Last year we had a bad scare and almost lost my mom to what we now know is CoPD and other health issues. She is just now starting to come around but still requires a great deal of care, doctor's visits, medicine, and oxygen.

In December 2023, after an emergency room visit, we found out that my step-dad (her husband) has colon cancer. They immediately did surgery and removed a humongous mass. We were hoping that they got it all but unfortunately they did not. We do not know all of the specifics yet but more than half of the lymph nodes they tested came back with cancerous cells. He will have at least 6 months of chemo and another surgery.

My step-dad is a truck driver and their only source of income. They have not asked me to do this but did give me permission on their behalf. They are not ones to ask for help. They both have a very long road medically and I would like to at least take the financial worry off of them.

You may know Stephen from around town as "The Hat Guy." He is the kind of person that just likes to make people happy and laugh. He is almost always wearing a funny hat, especially during the holidays. Stephen absolutely loves Christmas. This Christmas has been particularly gut wrenching for all of us.

I know this is a difficult time of year for giving but any amount helps to pay monthly bills, necessities, medicines, and doctor's visits for the next 6 months or more.
