Help for the Ham-Lambs

Anyone who knows Kim and Doug knows that their fur babies are their world. Needless to say, when Peanut (aka Pean Machine), their very healthy and “energetic” (total nutball) pup had a spinal injury last week resulting in an immediately required $7,600 surgery, they were taken by complete surprise. Taking in and connecting with an animal in need is an incredibly rewarding experience, but anyone who has fostered/adopted knows that it also comes with its challenges. Kim and Doug are responsible pet owners. They provide a safe and loving environment and are proactive about keeping their pets healthy. However, no matter how much you prepare, an unexpected injury can leave pet owners with the heart-wrenching decision to euthanize or plunge themselves into financial ruin. K&D are in the process of starting a new business and family planning, so the timing of Peanuts injury could not be worse (not that it’s ever a good time for this sort of thing). This account was set up in the hopes that your compassion/donations might help alleviate some of the burden this incident has created, and assist in providing continued care for Peanut as she continues her recovery. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated :)
