Help for the Grimm Family

Hi my name is Tracy and my husband Stuart is currently in the hospital at St Joseph’s here in Tucson. He is the sole earner in our household, an Army Veteran and he is out of work recovering from a bad infection and surgery to correct the infection.

He is currently going to be out of work for a couple more weeks. He works in HVAC and won’t have full mobility for a little.

We aren’t sure if he will qualify for Short Term Disability or if his work will pay for sick leave. The only income we will have while he is out of work is his VA Disability which we only get once a month.

This is a very difficult time for our family since this is happening during the holidays. I am unable to work due to effects from a stroke last year and don’t qualify for disability yet.
