Continuing Help for the Goodsen family

I am seeking donations to help my sister Nicole Goodsen in this huge time if need. Joe and Nicole are hard working, kind and wonderful people in my life who have always helped others in their time of need.  My sister is a school teacher in Post Falls, Joe was working at CDA Insurance when this crisis happened and they have a special needs son that requires full time care.  Friends and family of my brother in law Joe. On behalf of Nicole and family, we have been putting off communicating much of my brother in laws condition on social media until we could give a more accurate update. Sorry for not being more active in communicating what is going on. We love each and everyone, and deeply appreciate all of the thoughts, words and prayers and reaching out to us personally. We will try to keep updates posted as they come available. So the bottom line is, Joe experienced a sore leg several days ago, which turned out to be a blood clot in his lower left leg (not sure how, but it developed). On Sunday, he was not feeling right, so Nicole took him to the hospital. The clot broke loose and traveled to his heart, where part of it went to his lung and part of it went through a hole in his heart, into his brain causing a stroke. He has most always been conscious and mentally alert through the whole ordeal. He can understand, and respond with simple 'yes' or 'ya'. last night and today he also used the words 'a little more' and 'cold', however there is still so much we do not know. His vitals are good. He is not out of woods by any means and keep the prayers going. If we are not able to get back to you personally, please know we appreciate all of the support! They only allow one person in per day, so I rely on the eyes, ears and voice of either Nicole or Nick to relay information
