Help for the Gollihar family

Hello everyone, I am making this go fund me for my brother's family. My nephew Brayden was sick for a few days and everyone assumed he had a tummy bug. On day 3 of constant throwing up he started having pain so mom took him to the ER. After assessment and tests it was determined to be his appendix. The bigger issue is that it had ruptured. The surgeons in Waco were not confidant that this was a surgery they could do, so he was transported to a different hospital better equipped to handle something this serious. (Hospital name is being withheld for personal reasons... please inbox Douglas or Brittany).

Upon arrival it was determined that surgery would need to wait at least 5 days to give time to drain the abscess. Dad went with Brayden and mom stayed nervously back at home with the other children. Everyone who knows this family, knows there are 6 children and no way for both parents to be there as one will have to be with the other children. A tremendous strain is on them bc mom can't be at the hospital with all of the siblings so dad has to stay. This puts dad out of work during this time.

Things took a turn for the worse yesterday and Brayden had to have emergency surgery on the abscess, but it was still too dangerous to remove the appendix. He will need a second surgery. We are not sure how long he'll be hospitalized at this point to make it safe for him to have the second one. Dad will continue to be by his side and continue to miss work. Bills are still adding up because as we all know... they never stop.

They have insurance so this isn't an ask of thousands and thousands. I am just asking for friends and family to give anything they can to help ease the burden of the bills that will need to be paid and help replace the income that is being missed. My brother is an amazing father, husband and man of God. All who know him, know he always helps the next person in any way he can and now he and his family are need of that help.
