Our financial difficulties began in 2015. My beautiful wife, Denise, had heart failure in June of 2015 and almost died. She was in and out of the hospital for the next year and a half. In October of 2016, Denise was admitted to the hospital for liver failure and kidney issues, where she almost died again. She was in the hospital for a month and then had to go a rehab facility for three weeks. In February of 2018 she started the two month process of testing and assessments to be put on the liver transplant list. She was first turned down because she was at high risk of a stroke. She was put on more medication and after about a month, she was put on the liver transplant list in May of 2018. At this time her liver was not doing all that well. Well in October she got a match for her liver. This short time on the list is unheard of. She went into a 9 1/2 surgery and came out with a new liver. She spent two weeks in the hospital and then came home. She seemed to be doing well, but did have a bladder issue come up, which the doctors thought could be caused by the heart. She was scheduled to go see the cardiologist but never made it. She died peacefully in her sleep December 9th. This whole ordeal for almost the past four years has taken a major financial toll on me and my two children. We are looking for help. We need $50,000 to pay off medical bills. Please consider making a small donation to help us. Any amount will help!
