Help for the funeral of Simone

The family and friends of Daydreams NE Philly have been heartbroken over the loss of a life taken extremely too soon. The Daughter of ourbeloved employee "Mont" Robert Maynard, 15 year old Simone-Monea Rogers was gunned down last week on a basketball court while innocently playing and being tragically caught in the crossfire. Simone had just graduated from the 8th grade this year and was starting West Catholic High School in the fall. Another act of violence in this city has caused this close knit Daydreams family and the community in general to grieve and wonder when will these acts just stop???

This unexpected heinous act has caused a great financial burden on Mont and his relatives and any donation is not too small and extremely appreciated. The family is looking to give Simone the service that she deserves and some type of closure to this senseless act of the another life of an innocent child taken.

Any donations above and beyond the expenses will be donated to a Philadelphia local anti violence charity in the name of Simone-Monea Rogers.
