Dear friends and community members,

We are reaching out to you on behalf of our dear friend Heather, who is going through an incredibly challenging time right now. Her 15-year-old son, Matthew, a sophomore at Mead High School, was involved in a serious skiing accident and is currently fighting for his life in the ICU at Children's Hospital in Aurora, CO.

As you can imagine, this has been a devastating and unexpected event for Heather and her family. We have had many people reach out and want to help the family with any financial burden to tend to Matthew along with the costs of being away from work and other unforeseen expenses, is overwhelming for Heather and her family during this already difficult time.

That's why we are starting this GoFundMe campaign to rally support for Matthew and his family. Any amount, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping them.

Matthew is a football player and an extremely athletic, bright, and resilient young man who has touched the lives of many with his kindness. Heather is a devoted and loving mother who is always been there for Matthew and his siblings. Let's unite as a community and show our support for this incredible family during their time of need.
