Help for the family of John "Randy" Thomas

Hello, my name is Crystal Bennick and I am asking for help for my Aunt Patricia Thomas who just lost her husband unexpectedly. The holidays are a time for celebrating and this year my aunt is instead of celebrating is mourning the loss of her husband John “Randy” Thomas. My Uncle Randy was a Retired Navy Chief. He served his country proudly but suffered from mental illness due to his time in the military. His mental illness led to addiction which has in turn left my aunt and cousins stranded at Christmastime.

My Uncle did not have life insurance and there is no spousal support for my aunt now that he has passed away. He was the Navy sponsor for their on base housing so now they are having to move out of their home and find a new place to live. They depended on my uncle’s retirement and sponsorship for their livelihood and now that is gone. She has nothing! Her only source of income is gone and they are being forced to move out by the first of the year.

My aunt now needs help in coming up with the first and last months rent for a new apartment, moving expenses, money for food and gas and if possible a couple presents for my cousins for Christmas. I ask that you donate to help them get back on their feet during this terrible time. They live in the Jacksonville, FL area so if anyone knows of an apartment that is decently priced I’m sure she would appreciate the referral as well.
