In February, Audrey slipped on the ice outside of their home and broke her ankle. For those of you who know Audrey, you know that she doesn't do anything half way so, she didn't just break the ankle, she REALLY broke her ankle. She had surgery to have 2 metal rods installed, all of her cartilage was torn off and there's a possibility she may need to walk with a cane, even after she has healed.
After surgery, Audrey had another setback. She slipped and fell while moving around the apartment. She hurt her other ankle and had assumed it was badly sprained. Since Audrey & Colin's apartment is up 2 flights of stairs, she was not able to get right into the Doctor's office without risk of further injury. Yesterday, she found out that this ankle is also broken.
As you know, Audrey & Colin are self employed and have the most beautiful 3 year old girl. Colin is doing his very best to be Audrey's caretaker, Ellie's caretaker and running the business himself. Audrey & Colin are selfless individuals who help anyone in need and they would never ask for help so, I'm asking for them :)
If you are able to help in any way, we would greatly appreciate it. Money will be used to supplement any loss in business while Audrey is recovering and to help with meals so, Colin can spend a little less time in the kitchen and helping Audrey & Ellie. If you can't help monetarily, please send up a prayer for a quick and full recovery.
Thank you!
