Help for the Dodge family and baby Logan

Hi my name is Kyra Augustus and I’m fundraising for the Dodge family and their baby boy Logan. In the short time he has been on this earth he has faced some big obstacles. Please donate and share so we can ensure Corey and David don’t have to stress about financial costs and while they’re focused on Logan’s healing.

Logan was born 3.8.2024 and due to his Hyposplastic Left Heart Syndrome diagnosis at his 20 week ultrasound was immediately taken to primary children’s hospital, his dad going with him and Corey recovering from birth, to start medications and close monitoring in preparation for his first surgery.

In his 3 weeks in this world he has had a heart cath lab procedure and had his 1st open heart surgery called the Norwood procedure with Sano shunt at just 1 week old. As of now he is still in the CICU recovering from surgery and fighting respiratory issues due to collapsed lungs and a paralyzed vocal cord along with some fluid around his heart.

Here’s an explanation of what HLHS is -

In babies with HLHS, the left side of the heart cannot pump oxygen-rich blood to the body properly. Without treatment, HLHS is fatal. In order to help increase blood flow to the body and bypass the poorly functioning left side of the heart, three separate surgeries are typically performed. These surgeries do not cure HLHS but rather help restore heart function.

Due to his surgeries and the extensive stay required in the hospital, bills are stacking up. We’re hoping to raise anything we can to help the Dodge family so their focus can be on Logan and his health.
