Help for The Dapper Beaver

Hello my name is Scott Claypool, the owner of The Dapper Beaver.

Often the first question I get asked is why did you open The Dapper Beaver.

The Dapper Beaver has always been about creating conversations through coffee and empowering our customers to create change, and we want to continue in that mission. Because we opened during the pandemic, government business assistance hasn’t been available to us so (as a new local business) we’re humbly asking for your support so we can retool our business to keep going and thrive through the continued challenges ahead!

We are retooling to focus on the roastery instead of trying to increase sales at the cafe level.  This restructuring will allow us to get inventory, create a website, hire some help, and allow us to keep going through the 4th wave. 

We won best new roaster in Edmonton last year (Th3rd Wave) and a small business award with United Way for our work in the community.  This is clear evidence that our impact in the community is felt, and our product is amazing!

We don’t want to close the doors on the Beaver… We want to keep making great coffee, connecting people and building our community. We hope you can help.
