After two years of putting all of our resources, energy, money, and time into fighting for my dad’s life and healing, he has been fully healed in a different way than we hoped. It was an honor to care for my dad through his medical journey, but as he required more care, I had to give more time, and as I gave more time at home to help my mom with my dad, we made less money as a household. In the end, I would do it all again without hesitation, if any of our efforts afforded us more time with him. Even still, we find ourselves with some major financial holes and some urgent financial needs coming up in light of his passing.

 

We have an urgent need of $2,000 to address the most pressing financial aspect of his passing, and anything beyond that would go to other memorial expenses or to the ongoing work we will be doing to build our way back stable again.
