Help for the Coulson family, River Fire Mudslide

On the early morning of January 27, 2021 the Coulson families lives changed forever.  Not long ago,  they were fearing the raging flames of the River Fire and merely escaping that.   But Mother Nature wasn’t done yet...  In the early hours of Wednesday morning Cecilia and Jim were awoken abruptly as raging waters and mud rushed in and around their home, destroying absolutely EVERYTHING in its path. Cecilia was swept in the raging mud escaping with “minor” injuries (severely broken arm which will require surgery)  while Jim also having trouble along the way. The biggest hardship they face now is loosing everything they treasured along the years.  Family heirlooms, memorabilia, furniture, clothing, their entire livelihood gone.  

For those that know the Coulson’s, know them as loving, caring, wonderful family people always willing to lend a helping hand.  They are as loving as they are hard working and have established their reputable River Road Stables business over the many years boarding horses and helping all who want to learn to ride.  Luckily during this disaster the horses that reside there also survived. 

We have created this Go Fund me to help Jim, Cecilia, their family, and their business. Knowing it won’t bring back their home where they raised their wonderful children and made life long memories in. Lending a helping hand may also help rebuild a home and the River Road Stables that offered opportunities to so many. 

Thank you to EVERYONE who helped them evacuate horses and helped clear access roads to and from their home. No good deed goes forgotten.
