Help for the Colpitts family
Donation protected
A few weeks ago, our friend Matt Colpitts received a devastating diagnosis of rapid onset ALS. If you don't know, ALS is a progressive nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, causing loss of muscle control. This disease leads to an untimely death, with an average life expectancy of 2-5 years. The Colpitts family needs our help to account for the loss of Matt's income, and pay everyday bills as well as many medical bills to come. Even more recently, Matt was admitted to the hospital after a visit to the emergency department. Matt suffered a complete loss of muscle in his left leg. Considering Matt has lost almost all muscle in his arms and legs, he will be unable to be discharged back home. At this time, he is waiting at the hospital for a suitable placement. If you can help, we know the family would be incredibly grateful, and if you'd like to offer help in any other way, please reach out to Michelle King to help facilitate. We will work to keep this page updated as we move forward.
