My uncle, Dan Abrams, is in hospice care at Riverside Hospital with septic shock. He was transported from Mary Rutan to Columbus via a mobile unit ambulance. Dan has suffered with chronic pain for over 20 years due to his bone cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery that made him live as a person with a disability. He’s accumulated many medical bills over the years, and lost his life insurance a month ago. Dan’s wife and children have many expenses to take care of, sadly including a funeral.
