Help For Teen Survivor of Car Crash & Mother

On the way home from working a catering event, my dear friend Cathleen's 16 year old daughter was struck by a drunk driver going the wrong direction on Rt. 295. The young student athlete is in critical condition and has suffered severe injuries including broken vertebrae and internal damage which will require months of rehab, preventing her from starting school and participating in her fall activities. Sadly, Cathleen lost her husband to cancer in 2020, and has felt the financial burden of being a single parent and now out of work to care for her daughters needs. She is a woman of integrity who is always there to lend a helping hand.

As friends, family and community we are sadden by this tragedy. Our goal is to alleviate the financial burden for medical costs and time off from work for recovery. We ask that you keep this dear soul and her lovely daughter in your thoughts and prayers as they undergo surgeries and transition into recovery.
