Help For Survivor of Horrific Car Crash

On September 6, 2021 - Early Monday morning, while driving on hwy 680 near Marina Vista exit (in Martinez, CA), my brother Rene Aguayo was involved in a horrific car accident. Our family was unaware until Wednesday September 8, 2021 when Rene's friend and work reached out looking for him. He is currently in very critical condition in the ICU. Rene has experienced life changing injuries; internal bleeding, four broken ribs, shattered ankle, broken knee, and several orbital and cheekbone fractures. So far he has had five surgeries. We are awaiting the news on more operations and once over will require a long rehabilitation process.

We love Rene so much. He is a man with virtues that out shine his flaws. He is a loving father, son, brother, and friend. As his family, we are heart sick by this news. There are still so many unknowns to his condition and his road to recovery but he is fighting hard. With your help, we are hoping to have the opportunity to alleviate financial burden for medical costs (current and post hospital stay) and time off work for recovery.
