I'm a mother facing a challenging time as I prepare for bypass surgery. Because of the many appointments and the upcoming procedure, I haven't been able to work. Years ago, my four children were taken from me by their father and stepmom. My daughter, who is with me now, lived a very difficult life with them. I was never allowed to see or speak to my kids, and I lost hope that things would ever change. I was never a bad mother—just a mother trying to get her kids back, but I ran out of money for lawyers and lost the case.
Recently, my daughter bravely reached out to me, and we are now reunited. Having her here has brought me so much happiness and hope. I am no longer depressed or sad, but grateful for this second chance. However, I wasn't prepared for the sudden responsibility of supporting both of us, especially while dealing with my own health issues and being unable to work.
Right now, we need help with basic needs like groceries, gas, and bills. I also want to help my daughter get started with what she needs to get to work and begin building her own independence. Your support would mean the world to us and would help ease the burden during this difficult time, allowing me to focus on my recovery and making sure my daughter is safe and cared for.
Thank you to anyone who donates. I want to thank you so much—may God bless you all. Even though I don't know most of you, I can truly feel your kindness and warmth. Thank you again, and may God bless you all.
