hi my names kirsty, i’m starlights mummy , i’ve been asked to put up a fundraiser to help us and starlight with our health issues. people have asked to help my family since my big operation as we aren’t in a great place , it’s the first of 4 surgeries and recovery was 8 weeks until the wound opened and is now a lot longer. we were hoping surgery would help the bowel but only made it worse to the point it’s barely working. i’m still very unwell and will be recovering for a while and unable to work, lift or anything. then our washing machine flooded our kitchen and broke which also has broke our kitchen cupboards which are getting fixed, we have now been unfortunately left with nothing and i wasn’t going to do this but im pushing my pride aside , some people have been amazing and want to help us to be able to do some things together since we haven’t in years, they also wanted me to take starlight somewhere to have freedom like a getaway but unfortunately with my health at the moment we can’t , we won’t be keeping it up long as we don’t want to accept too much but i am very grateful for your support and kindness ❤️
