Funeral for Solomon Abraham Embaye
Dear friend and family member,
It is with great sadness that the family of Solomon Abraham Embaye announce his sudden passing on Monday, August 31, 2020. Solomon was born in Asmara, Eritrea on October 6, 1974 to Embaye Abraha and Haregu Paulos. He immigrated to the United states with his parents and siblings in 1981, and settled in Portland, Oregon where he attended Boise-Elliott Elementary School, Harriet Tubman Middle School, And Wilson High-School.
Solomon was a quiet and calm soul who despite his own internal battles found no greater joy than to bring laughter and light into the lives of others. Being a father to his beautiful children , whom he loved deeply, brought him true happiness and was the biggest honor of his life. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his infectious smile, his warm heart, and his ability to see only the good in anyone he encountered.
Solomon was predeceased by his parents Embaye Abraha and Haregu Paulos. He is survived by his four children Imani Embaye-Davis, Solomon Embaye Jr., Simone Embaye, and Hailab Embaye; his siblings Manna Embaye, Yosief Embaye, Medhanie Embaye, and Tsehai Embaye; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Gone from our sight but never from our hearts, Solomon Embaye will be forever loved and cherished.
