My family has to raise funds to bury our beloved Mother, Nell Tracey who passed away on November 14th.  Mom was 95 years old, she would have turned 96 on December 11th. She has been ill for the past three years due to Alzheimer's disease.  She was the sweetest, kindest woman in the entire world. She loved all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. However, the greatest and only true love of her life was her husband our father.  They met on a blind date in June of 1944 during WWII while he was stationed at Fort Butner in North Carolina.  A  fellow soldier who happened to be from the local city of Durham, told my father that his sister's friend would be the perfect date for him and arranged a date. Our Dad used to tell the story of seeing her coming down the street on the handlebars of a bicycle and thinking she was a young girl. When he realized that she was a young woman he said he took one look into her eyes and fell in love. He used to tell us that it was "Love at first sight". They got married two weeks later. They remained together for 34 years until he passed in 1978. She was still quite young but she would never even consider meeting or dating another man. She loved our father more than anything. We knew that she did not want to be cremated because she did not want her husband  cremated. She bought a plot next to his in the cemetery as that is where she wanted to be when she passed. We are poor folks and cannot afford to grant her final wish to be laid to rest next to her beloved. Please help us grant her last wish.  There is no life insurance, her house is gone to the mortgage company and we do not have enough money to pay the funeral home. We are only having a short visitation, and a graveside service but the total expense is 6,000.00. We do not have a lot of time to pay for the services and the "funeral home" in Frederick will not give us a payment plan.  We need help to give our Mother her very last wish, to be buried next to the only man she ever loved.
