In January 2025, our beautiful friend Sinéad Lynch received the devastating news that she had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Without treatment, doctors told her she might not be with us by April 2025.

Sinéad is a devoted mother to four incredible young children who have already endured more heartbreak than any family should. Just three years ago, they lost their beloved father, Philip, to cancer after he spent his final five months in hospital. As a family, they faced unimaginable pain—and now they are confronting it all over again.

Sinéad is one of the strongest, most positive people we know. Her courage, resilience, and sheer determination continue to inspire everyone around her. She is currently undergoing grueling chemotherapy, while also investing in expensive monthly vitamins, herbal treatments, and IV vitamin drips. She’s throwing everything she can at this cancer to stay here for her children as long as possible.

This level of comprehensive care comes at an enormous financial cost. Sinéad had to stop working the day she was diagnosed and is now surviving on a widow’s pension. She has already exhausted much of her savings to create precious memories with her kids and to fund these ongoing treatments.

Philip’s parents are deceased, and Sinéad’s own parents are now in their 80s. She is blessed with an amazing sister, brother-in-law, and a tight circle of friends providing constant emotional support—but the financial burden is overwhelming.

We’re setting up this fundraiser to help ease that pressure: so Sinéad can continue accessing the best complementary therapies alongside her medical treatment, cover everyday family needs, and—most importantly—focus on making memories and being present for her four children.
