Support Shikara’s Stroke Recovery ❤️
Donation protected
Last week, Shikara (very unexpectedly) suffered a stroke which has left her unable to work for at least a few months.
What happened: A PICA (posterior inferior cerebellar artery) stroke occurs when a blood clot disrupts blood flow to part of the brain. In Shikara’s case, this was caused by an arterial dissection—a tear in the lining of an artery that lead to clot formation.
She’s doing great, all things considered, but she will need time to heal (and we’ll update more on this process as we learn more…).
Shikara is a ray of sunshine on this planet and she could use a village right now. The goal is to raise $10,000 to help her cover rent, groceries, childcare, medical expenses, and other unforeseen costs during the next few months.
Every contribution, no matter the size, is so appreciated and will help our gal focus on her health without the added stress of financial strain. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this link with your friends & family is a great way to help!
Thank you in advance for your generosity
