Help for Shannon Cross Family

On June 12, 2021,  Shannon Cross was involved in a horrific car accident involving a semi truck while driving with her two children and Mother. Her children and Mother made it out with unfortunately broken bones, but minor injuries overall. Shannon unfortunately took the brunt of this hit and is currently at Shands Trauma ICU, fighting for her life. She has multiple fractured ribs, and a collapsed lung, among other injuries from the accident. Shannon has an extensive list of pre conditions, and lives with Lupus, making this fight even harder on her. 

We are unsure of the length of her recovery, and we ask that above all else, you lift her and her family in prayer during this extremely emotional time in their lives.

We have set up this Fundraiser for Shannon and her family to help ease the financial burden of future medical bills she will endure, and also help her Mother and children financially to provide meals and any medical care they may need with their injuries from the accident. Shannon is a single mother and is the soul provider for her Mother and two children. Shannon had just closed on her new home Friday, 6/11/2021, and was so excited to be able to provide a new home for her family that she has worked tirelessly to obtain. 

For those of you who know Shannon, the list is endless of her amazing qualities. Shannon works as a Memory Care Coordinator for an Assisted Living Facility in Gainesville, FL and works tirelessly to bring joy and laughter to residents suffering with advanced Dementia/Alzheimer's. She is the first to ask if you need help with anything, and offering support in any way possible. Everyday she is bringing light to others. Shannon is a wonderful mother and enjoy fishing and being outdoors with her children. She is always on an adventure with them and devotes her life to providing for them and building lasting memories. Shannon is a huge animal lover and has dogs, a cat, and a pig! Shannon would never expect this help, but there is no other person I can think of that is more deserving than her to release this financial burden for her and her family.
