Hello everyone! My sister Shaniah broke her arm on Sunday evening. She is devastated and worried about providing for her daughter and herself. As of right now, the doctor said she won’t be able to return to work as a bartender/server for 2-3 months. Anyone who knows my sister knows she is a super hard worker and takes pride in caring for her daughter.

The trauma orthopedic doctor told her she will likely need surgery. He’s having her get a CAT scan to confirm this, due to what the x-rays are showing. Right now, she cannot drive or do some of the simple things that we all take for granted. My mom and I are doing what we can, but sometimes it takes humbling yourself to ask for help. We are asking for any help that you could offer and we all would be eternally grateful. We wish she could move home, but that isn’t possible. Thank you for reading this.
