Help for Purple Heart veteran SGT Zane Cordingly
Donation protected
Zane served for 6 1/2 years with the 101 Airborne Division fighting in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He was injured by an IED in Afghanistan. For saving the life of another soldier injured in the blast he received an Army Commendation Medal for valor, presented by General Petraeus himself. He also received the Purple Heart. He was medically discharged for his injuries and severe PTSD. He has struggled in all aspects of his life including failed marriages, difficulties with employment, medical problems including terrible nightmares and substance abuse. His health reached a critical stage this week with life threatening pancreatitis causing damage to his heart, lungs and liver. There is no way he will be able to pay his bills for the next few months and may need to file for social security .disability. Zane is a wonderful person who is a classic example of how serving his country can end up destroying his life. So many say "thank you for your service". Please take that to the next level and help a decorated young man in crisis. I promise that every penny given will only be used to directly assist Zane. God's blessings to you.
