Help for Seriously Injured NJ Woman & Her Family
Donation protected
A horrific accident happened on November 11, 2019 when my life partner, Stacey Lobo, was struck by a car while crossing the street in front of our house. She was airlifted to Morristown Hospital and remains on a ventilator.
Stacey has sustained many severe injuries including several broken bones (femur, tibia, pelvis, shoulder), blood clots and a head injury. She has had three surgeries already with many more on the way. It will be a long recovery ahead and a long time before she will be able to walk again.
Stacey has 5 children, 3 of whom live with us in our home. Our daughter Serenity is 4 years old (her 5th birthday is on Nov 16 and Stacey’s is on Nov 21!). She is the most loving and devoted stay at home mother.
Our family will be facing an extreme financial hardship with the medical expenses for Stacey's ICU stay, surgeries and recovery treatments, as well as funding the normal living expenses and groceries for the family. We had been struggling to make ends meet before this happened and it’s only going to be more difficult now. I lost my IT job of 20+ years when Toys R Us closed and have been working odd jobs as a waiter and Lyft driver while I continue to search for full-time, permanent employment.
Our family is extremely grateful for any financial support that is provided to us during this time of need. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
With sincere gratitude,
Joel
