Help For Sandy Mele

Last week, my sister, Sandy Mele, was in a major car accident that left her in intensive care at Jersey Shore Hospital with a broken back. She has developed pneumonia while being in the hospital and is in critical condition. She is currently intubated and is fighting for her life. With no vehicle because it was damaged beyond repair, and having to take Uber twice a day to be with her in the ICU as her caregiver and voice, as well as mounting medical bills, rent, etc, we desperately need help.

My sister and I have little family and I am afraid I won’t be able to continue going to the hospital to support her because of how expensive transportation is. Recovery will be a long, expensive road too, especially with her income ending this month and her health insurance expiring at the end of December. Having to worry about how we will be able to get her to the doctors will cause so much added stress onto the healing process.

I would be so grateful if you could help my sister with housing bills, medical bills, transportation and other significant expenses. I also ask that you please keep my sister in your prayers. She is so kind hearted and would do anything for anyone. She was the type of child to always bring home stray animals because they didn’t have a home. Anything you can do to help during this critical time would mean the world to us.
