March 2nd update- I’m keeping this open a while longer so that she can still receive financial assistance. She is walking short distances. She is having trouble with short term memory loss. We were not able to get her into a rehabilitation center because she did not qualify for Medicaid’s help and the costs were well over 6k. But She is improving at home and your continued support is appreciated during this time. Thank you so much to all who have donated and we hope in just a couple more months she will be back at 100%.
Jan 19th Important UPDATE- because my mother has no insurance , they are releasing her in a week and it will cost $6000 get her into a rehabilitation facility. That doesn’t even cover her daily meds, but that will at least get her in. If we don’t do all we can to get her there when she is released from Erlanger, then she will be taken home with no assistance. She has to relearn to walk and this is going to be a long road to recovery. When I first started this campaign , I made the goal 1000$ and I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who had donated. This means the world to our family and all of you are so amazing with your love and compassion for my family. We are so close to getting our mama back. We need to get her into a rehabilitation facility in Guntersville and coming up with this money is , sadly , the only way. Thank you all for everything.

Many of you may know my mother, Sandra Baher. She helped run the merch table at many cancerslug shows over the years. she’s always been supportive of my music and attended many of my shows so a lot of you may know her from that. She has helped so many of my friends whenever they needed it, from food and clothes to just always thinking of others. Anyone who knows her , knows that she is the type that never turns her back on folks, and is always ready to give a helping hand.
On Wednesday, Jan 2, my mother suffered an anuerism while driving. She was rushed to the Erlanger Hospital from The guntersville/Arab hospital. She received 28 coils to contain and stop the bleeding in her brain. She has been in the icu of Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tn. for two weeks where she still is, recovering. It is going to be a slow road to recovery but she is a fighter. Anyone who knows her, knows that. We are not the type of folks who ever ask for help. But I have created this gofundme because my moms bills and rehab costs will be upwards over $6000. Any donation is appreciated. Thank you for your time.
