Help for Sandy Hwang at Manhattan Bagel

Every community loves to have a place where everyone can go to see their neighbor, share a quick meal, and be surrounded by wonderful people. Manhattan Bagel is that place if you live in the Clifton/Centreville area. They are quick to support any and every cause in our community from the local food bank, to local sports teams, and every club or organization in our local schools.

One of the kindest women you'll encounter, Sandy Hwang, is always there to greet you with a smile and take your order for your favorite bagel sandwich. Last month, Sandy (pictured here with her sister Jennifer- owner of Manhattan Bagel), was diagnosed with a highly aggressive but treatable form of breast cancer. Her treatment is going to be extensive, which of course comes with a hefty medical bill. The physical and emotional strain is tremendous as anyone who has ever had a loved one battle cancer knows. After talking with several neighbors, and receiving Sandy's blessing, we decided to start this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial strain so that Sandy can concentrate on her treatment. 

All funds will go towards Sandy's medical bills. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. And, when you go in for your favorite sandwich, give her a smile!
