San Diego-based music critic and jazz community advocate Robert Bush is ill and needs your support! He has been experiencing debilitating fatigue for the last six months and has finally received a diagnosis: bradycardia (heartbeat too slow) and chronotropic incompetence (inability of the heart to increase under stress and exercise).
In the past, Robert supplemented his work as a music journalist with income from carpentry and other physical labor. Such employment is impossible in his present condition.
Robert needs a pacemaker implanted to regulate his heartbeat. He is awaiting a date for the surgery. He is seeking support to cover living expenses as he makes a full recovery. All contributions help, matter, and are deeply appreciated.
If you are a member of the San Diego music community, you probably know Robert. Please take this opportunity to support our friend.
