Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted souls,
I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart, asking for help for someone who has endured unimaginable hardship. My name is Sameer, a Palestinian living in Gaza, and I find myself trapped in a nightmarish reality — one that no human being should ever have to experience.
For over two years, my family and I have been living through this ongoing genocide, surrounded by devastation and fear. In that time, we have been displaced ten times, forced to flee again and again, each time losing more of what little we had left.
Our home — the place where we lived for 17 years — was completely destroyed by artillery fire, leaving us with nothing. My parents had put their entire lives into building that home, a symbol of safety, love, and stability. Today, it is gone.
We have faced horrors beyond imagination — constant bombardment, starvation, thirst, and the daily fear of death. Every move we make is a desperate attempt to survive. Despite our resilience, we can no longer bear the losses and suffering.
Now, our only hope is to escape to Egypt, to find safety and rebuild our lives. But leaving Gaza is not easy — it requires significant financial means and coordination, both of which are far beyond our current reach after losing everything.
That’s why I am humbly asking for your help. Your support — no matter the amount — can make the difference between despair and survival. It’s not just a donation; it’s a message of humanity, compassion, and hope.
Please, if you can, donate and share our campaign widely with your friends, families, and communities. Every act of kindness helps bring us one step closer to safety and a chance to live again with dignity.
With heartfelt gratitude and hope,
Sameer Maher
