Help for Sam,Chloe and Freddie

Sam Stewart has been a Phosters engineer for several years now, he is a valued electrician and a well respected and key member of the South West team.

Sam and his partner Chloe have a 17 month old baby boy called Freddie,

Freddie was diagnosed at 15 months with an exceptionally rare condition whereby be was effectively living at such a young age with kidney and bladder stones.

This condition in an adult is a matter which will affect everyday life with considerable pain and discomfort so you really can’t imagine how it must be for an infant.

Freddie has now been referred to Great Ormond St hospital in London for critical surgery to remove some of the stones. Freddie could then only be fed via nasal tube and the family stayed in London for over a week whilst Freddie recovered from this proceedure.

This was just the beginning of the remedial process, Freddie will still have to undergo further episodes of surgery in London over the coming months.

As you can appreciate, this time off work, travel to and from London and accomodation has had a dramatic affect on SAm financially, he has been using all of his A/L to avoid losing money but this will also soon run out leaving Sam without income to support his family
