Help For Rural Delaware Family
Donation protected
My name is Albert Hopkins and I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my aunt and cousins who are very proud and humble but, I think, in need of some help. They were badly affected by the recent tornado that swept through the area. The tornado completely destroyed one of the two houses. The other house is severely damaged and is not inhabitable and we're not sure yet if it ever will be. In addition, they lost two sheds. The family dog is expecting a litter any day and there is an immediate need to rebuild a kennel.
My retired aunt and her two adult daughters live in a rural area outside Bridgeville, DE. Ironically the house that still stands is the one my great-grandpa (literally) built over 100 years ago, where my father spent his childhood. The other house belonged to my aunt. Nowadays my aunt needs to use a wheelchair and one of her two daughters, who both lived on the property, is recovering from cancer. Everything in the sheds was destroyed.
Immediate needs are food and temporary housing. Any additional funds will be used for repairs and replacing items lost in the storm.
Thanks in advance for your donation.
