On Sunday September 26, a wife lost her husband, two children lost their father, a village lost an advocate, and many of us lost a true friend. 

Rick Barry was that big guy with a huge heart whose sudden unexpected loss at such a young age has many of us wanting to do something to help. With the blessings of family, we have set up this Go Fund Me page to help ease the burden for his wife and kids and help them get through this difficult time. 

We've set a new goal to help this family focus on recovering without worries. The money will go directly to Rick's family.

Rick was that rare, genuine, all-around good guy.   He loved life and filled each day with family and friends and as much time as he could on the ocean.  He had endless room in his heart for so many of us who knew him as a friend.   His life's work was about public service and advocacy and ensuring that people who had the right to representation in court would be well represented.

 

And, Rick adored Hope and his two kids, Jake and Teagan.

Everyone wants to do something to help. It says so much about Rick and Hope and all they've meant to this community.  The family will get a list of all who donated and any messages you leave.
